After the House of Representatives approved of the education reform act, it is now Congress’ decision on whether to pass the act or not.
Meanwhile, U.S. Education Secretary Arne Duncan wants to rally everyone together to reauthorize the No Child Left Behind Act. Personally I think it’s a good idea, since ever since the act was created, it did more harm than good. It seemed to only benefit students that did well on tests, while those that struggled were still left behind. It’s just a shame that kids have to wait another year for a proper education act.
